Oh, I have a life of it. Sometimes a nap is a good idea as it changes your frame of mind. Or going for a run. Or just reading unrelated stuff on t’internet.
I do things like mow my property by hand instead of using the tractor mower or I work out hard. I exhaust myself so I can think clearly. Some thoughts are there because the problem needs solving or working out and once they are the thoughts go away. Best to you. Koko
Thanks. I guess when I work out my mind goes free of everything else besides the game I’m focused on (I play badminton). So it’s freeing in that sense but once I get off the court nothing has worked itself out or changed. Maybe i should do a sort of repetitive/routine based workout so I can actually think while doing it. Because sports can be like a drug in this regard, where it’s a means of escape.
But since posting this little blurb everything has pretty much worked out, but the advice really helps… I might go for a run or something today because of your comment :)
This is a tough one for me too. Sometimes, try to walk ‘away’ by doing something else, something where no thinking is involved, something repetitive. My go-to is chopping lots of vegetables and making soup. All the chopping and dicing calms me. :o
Thanks. My struggle is thinking a doing are two different things. I used to just think and never do. and when I ‘do,’ I don’t think it through, or over thinking it through… maybe I just need to strive to simplify things where there is not much thought involved… actually on second though. I’ve done that before and it stifled my creativity and everything that makes me ME!
…do you see what I mean?
I totally see what you mean. I’ve filled that position, every day is different. Sometimes it is okay to just BE….enjoying the present moment without trying to figure it out. Smile at the wonderful person that you are with so much mental energy :) Easier said then done though huh.
Yeah, there is something to be said for that. I definitely make sure I have time every week to just listen and enjoy my surroundings, but I feel it’s tough to accomplish a goal in that space. It’s reactive. Of o could somehow be in that space and let things happen around me that accomplish what I want to accomplosh, that would be ideal. Maybe that’s the goal. Not trying to force the moment, but just be, and let the moment happen
Exactly. You got it. Let the moment happen. Forcing it can produce for frustration. Being true to you is allowing yourself to bloom within each moment. Just let it happen.

Stop thinking
Gotta start thinking at some point though

Interesting
Hope you find a way that works for you. <3
Thanks :) I think I’ve figured it out a bit
<3 <3 <3
Common problem. Try to get out more :)
Thanks!
Try to apply the overthinking to something productive, or something refreshes your spirit. This is what works for me. Hopefully it will help you too.

You have no idea how much this helps me haha. Someone else separately just told me the same thing. Thanks for the advice
Wow. Happy to know that. Confirmation.
