“Time flies.” but I don’t think so. It doesn’t always go so fast. Instead, I think “time is like a fly.” I’m sure it’d be happy to just sit there and calmly enjoy the day with you, but you just have to keep scaring it off, don’t you?

Love your blog. Looking forward to more of your posts. Thanks for following.
thanks a bunch!
And this is exactly why we need to make the most out of every second !
Well said … :-)
Hmmm!
Love it! I find time moves more quickly when you’re putting off something your supposed to be doing
I hope you accept this award http://barbmca.wordpress.com/2013/07/04/bouquet-of-awards-seven-awards-for-15-bloggers/
thank you so much :)
Yes, time flies by fast. Espeically so in the summer here in Michigan.
I’ll make sure I avoid michigan in the summer then. just kidding ;)
For me it always goes way too fast, my days just disappear without doing I hope to do each day. So as far as the FLY is concerned he speeds along like the days do.
Interesting social commentary. I look forward to reading more :) Thanks for the follow!
By scaring it off, you mean wasting time, yes i do that I lot and I am left with no time to do any useful things.
I’d say that’s an apt interpretation :)
Noooo. I wouldn’t want to be a fly. Sometimes passes rather quickly, especially when you end up where a fly swatter is handy.
“The winds must come from somewhere when they blow,
There must be reasons why the leaves decay;
Time will say nothing but I told you so.”
Excerpt from “Time Will Say Nothing” by W. H. Auden

that’s a nice excerpt. harsh, but nice.
Yep except you will find that unlike a fly, time gets faster as you age. But then again that’s all in the perception.
true. it’s all relative I think. when you’re younger, a day is much longer compared to how long you’ve been alive, but when you’re old, a day can seem very, very short compared to how long you’ve been around.
It seems to increase exponentially actually – well, to me it does anyway. To me now a year seems like nothing. When I was a kid it was an eternity…
when I was a kid eternity was the smell of dinner and waiting for it to finish cooking.
nowadays i burn my food if i blink
Amusing way to put it, but accurate :)
Time’s fun when you are having flies
…i need to get me some more flies
Truth here. Well done.
I like this. Clever.

He, he!
Very clever!
Interesting perspective :)
I’m working on a short write now and got side tracked, so I just wrote this down real quicklike.
“your time is undone”
“oh. thanks.” *zip*
clearly, I am drunk with sleeplessness (<–that word has too many of the same letters in it. needs more variety.) [check plus]
oh gahb. muss bed now
haha :) Have a good one!
